In keeping with the Eastern Block German Shepherd tradition Spartanville Shepherds has selectively incorporated a few Czech German Shepherd dogs with Old World heritage into our program.

These German Shepherd dogs were bred to work for real in real life situations. Their jobs were to defend the borders and search for criminals during war times. They worked independent of their handlers such that obedience and tracking were an absolute necessity in order to facilitate their ability to think situations out for themselves. Defense and protection are natural for these highly skilled and intelligent German Shepherd dogs.

Bax is a beautiful black sable German Shepherd with a big blocky head correct structure strong bones and pigmentation that is rare to see. He is very stable in temperament self confident and has very nice working abilities. He has been trained by Josef Mravik of Eurosport in real life conditions for real life situations. Thanks to both Taunya and Josef for this exceptional German Shepherd male.
